This Privacy Policy explains how ReelMonk ("we", "us", or "our"), operated by Quiz Champion India, collects, uses, and protects information when you use our AI-powered short video generation platform at reelmonk.quizchampindia.in.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information when you use ReelMonk:

Media files: Images and video clips you upload for video generation. These are stored temporarily and automatically deleted after 2 hours.
Text content: Headlines, captions, scripts, and other text you submit as input to the video creation pipeline.
YouTube metadata: Video titles, descriptions, tags, category IDs, and privacy settings you provide when scheduling or uploading videos to YouTube via our platform.
Usage data: Server logs including IP addresses, request timestamps, job identifiers, and browser user-agent strings, retained for up to 30 days for security and debugging purposes.

We do not collect passwords, payment information, or personally identifying information beyond what is described above.

2. How We Use Your Information

To process and render your short videos using our AI pipeline.
To queue and upload completed videos to YouTube on your behalf (only after explicit admin approval).
To monitor system performance, diagnose errors, and enforce fair-use limits.
To comply with applicable laws and platform policies.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information or media files with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. YouTube API Services

Our application uses YouTube API Services provided by Google LLC to enable video uploads to YouTube on your behalf.

By using our service, you are agreeing to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service: https://www.youtube.com/t/terms.

Our use of YouTube API is subject to Google's Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy.

You can revoke our app's access to your YouTube account at any time via the Google security settings page: https://myaccount.google.com/permissions.

We access YouTube API solely to upload videos using credentials configured by the platform administrator. We do not read, store, or share your YouTube channel data, subscriber lists, analytics, or private video content beyond what is necessary to complete the requested upload.

4. Data Retention

Uploaded media files (staging): Automatically deleted within 2 hours of upload.
Generated output videos: Retained for a configurable period (default 30 days) and then permanently deleted.
Job records and metadata: Retained for up to 30 days, then purged.
Server logs: Retained for up to 30 days for security auditing.

5. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical measures to protect your data, including access-controlled admin routes protected by token authentication, IP-locked admin sessions, and encrypted HTTPS transport. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of information transmitted over the internet.

6. Third-Party Services

ReelMonk may interact with the following third-party services:

Google / YouTube Data API v3 – for video uploads. Governed by Google's Privacy Policy and YouTube's Terms of Service.
Redis – used internally for job queuing and runtime configuration. Not exposed externally.
Python TTS services – local AI voice synthesis; no audio is sent to external servers unless explicitly configured otherwise.

7. Children's Privacy

ReelMonk is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page when changes are made. Continued use of ReelMonk after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
